Chav-tastic! |
Virginal guests 21-24 were still nowhere to be seen as we headed left out of the station and right down Ruislip High Street for The Sweeney. (Once again we later discovered we had missed the closest pub, but could now put this down to being a bit tipsy to say the least). The bouncers on the door checked our bags (mine contained only a Kag-in-a-bag and an apple!) and we were in, mingling with the locals.
Unfortunately the pub didn’t live up to it’s name as there were no ‘hit first ask questions later’ cops hanging around… just a varied selection of chavs. We hovered round a high table and surveyed England’s finest on a Saturday night out before deciding enough was enough. We left via the bastion of the Great British Burger joint (Wimpy) and met JJ at the station as he had opted for a Chinese. Once again the drink was telling as JJ got lost reversing the route back to the station and we had a fair wait before the next tube to Ruislip Manor...!
