A guestless night and some very quick drinking was to be had. This first stop was more Irish than most of the pubs we'd encountered in Dublin and was complete with authentic Irish punters and bar staff.
We played a couple of quick games of pool on a very small and lopsided pool table. I think my nostalgic trip on this table back to the Sixth Form common room cost me big time and I very quickly lost a '2-0 whitewash'. It was time to leave this manly, authentic Irish bar in search of wherever lady luck would guide us to at Turnpike Lane ...
