 OVERALL  Sanitised but decent

On entry we feared this venue may have been a chain but if so it was our first exposure to it and certainly a name we didn't recognise. It had a welcoming roaring fire and was very large but offered 3 measly 'facilities' which was the worst 'floor-space-to-facilities' ratio we had encountered! It was also about the fifth "Railway" pub we had been in on our challenge... probably not that amazing given every pub is quite close to a station!

As we ordered our pints an old guy dressed in denims (at least 40) walked in and commented that there was "MILF everywhere!". Not quite sure if he was referring to a couple of very old dears or using the expression in the more literal sense but he was certainly right in spotting a large number of women dotted around the pub. The three of us indulged in some footy banter not far from the food and dining area. As comfortable as we were sat by the fire we couldn't fight the nagging doubt that we were sat in a chain so therefore kept our visit as short and sweet as possible. The MILF would have to wait, we wanted a beer at a proper pub near Dagenham East station...!
