Could envisage a good session here |
This was the first station we had
been to which didn't have the red, white and blue 'roundel' sign but we are
Marathon Drinkers and not tube geeks so we didn't really give a stuff.
Guest 1 joined us a few minutes later in the pub with the best opener yet "Yeo
Men!". Yes... we haven't had many good openers so far.
This was
our first real catch up after seasonal festivities and this was an ideal pub to
do it in. Small and intimate in size with decent but unobtrusive
background music and a sparse scattering of women meant our banter wasn't
distracted. If you ever need to pay a visit, just take a left out of the
station, prepare to fling open the pub doors and try and beat Guest 1's opening
gambit. Next pub please, mine's a Guinness at
Upminster
Bridge...
