Looked promising from outside but still OK inside. Cozy and warming in the winter
Facilities  2 x Wide Screen TVs (one in each bar)
Ladies  Eastern European barmaid with tattooed arm, another average barmaid and a couple of other bits

OVERALL  Overpriced to scare off the locals!

The closest pub to the station (The Swan) was closed so we checked THE rule book and moved on in search of the second closest which was Savannah. I apologized almost profusely to JJ as he’d been waiting in the cold for over an hour for me! In an effort to make it up to him I decided the first round was on me which was extra generous because of the steep prices they charged, particularly for a strange smelling Guinness.

The pub was divided into two bars which seemed to mirror each other in size and layout… right down to the placing of a single TV in each bar. We had chosen East side but were fairly unimpressed with the whole pub. The barmaids were trying to magic some Christmas cheer by putting the fairy lights up but we are hardened drinkers and demand more, starting with another flagon of ale at Clapham North...
