Run of the mill but with extra marks for booths |
After turning right out of the station, we found ourselves in this pretty large open plan pub. We decide against sitting at a table in a booth (which had their own TV's!) and instead played some pool, with Tim winning 2-0. Another nice feature was the cushions fixed to the wall at bum height, suitable for leaning on when having a drink - as demonstrated by Tim in the picture below. They have almost certainly never been washed and I dread to think what beasties had migrated onto Tim's person (c.f. Tim's house and its infestation of bed bugs problem). An irritating little kid came to play at the table next to us with his dad and annoyed us slightly, definitely what is technically known as "diddy chav". Not much else to do here and the toilets were out of order, so we rushed on to South Ruislip...
