Worth coming for the ‘meat raffle’ every Sunday! |
This was our second attempt to get an MD beer in at Colindale as we were previously thwarted by lack of time and the fact that
the nearest pub (this one) was closed. However, it was now reopened and refurbished and we were most pleased as this was a very
nice stop off. JJ appeared with a large split in his trousers which some may have suggested was a cry for help but the ladies
weren’t biting so we settled down to plot his next work promotion. Guest 12 soon joined us and happily supped his ale whilst taking
in the surroundings.
It was a homely pub, quite friendly and full of locals. It also promised a weekly meat raffle which was very old school and most
appreciated. We could have easily drunk on here but had one more MD stop on our radar for the evening, and it was Brent Cross...
