Yep, yet another Irish pub for the evening and this one the most Irish of all. The name and the neon shamrock in the window were just a pre-cursor to the interior with its Guinness posters and little tambourines. But this place had gone further. The walls were inscribed in an Irish-style font (I couldn't find it on the web, but if you've ever been to an 'Irish' pub, you'll know what I mean) with many famous quotes such as "Work is the curse of the drinking classes", "The Irish - a complicated mechanism for turning Guinness into Urine" and "Drinking - the vertical expression of a horizontal desire". Humour is obviously not dead in the Emerald Isle. Added to this was racing on the TV and adverts for GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) events on the Santana Sports channel. So despite being a theme job, this pub obviously done bring in real Irish punters as well, and in fact there were a few stereotypes hanging around. One of the pint glasses had a challenge and odds printed on it (as below). No one else seemed to be able to do this, but ironically the arthritis-ridden and stiff-jointed JJ easily managed to contort, displaying one of the benefits of the bizarre physical defects common to a Norfolk birth. And thus a party trick was born... Would we see more at Shadwell...?

I scored 5 goals in under 30 seconds. Are you
listening Lampard, you fat lazy shitester?

JJ takes Paddy Power to the cleaners. The bookie
don't always win!!
