OVERALL  Pricey, but cool. Surely must be pushing the top 10.

Turning left and heading up the hill, we found two pubs that were almost equidistant from the station, with the Griffin just qualifying as being the first one we saw. This was a good choice as this was a good pub. Obviously an old coaching inn, the inside of the pub was small, but homely. After the pretty blond negotiated changing the barrel on the Fosters, we headed outside. Interestingly at this point, Tim noted that the bar staff were showing us some attention - and I don't mean the obvious from blondie! We shrugged it off and headed to the beer garden to meet with a nice surprise - outdoor (but covered) pool and table football. This was all positioned in what would have been the drive leading from the main road to stables at the back. I gave Tim another lesson in pool and we were just going to rack up another frame when a great pair of daisy duke shorts walked in on the end of a hot latina.

The guys with her looked as they fancied a game of pool, so we chivalrously gave up the table and sat back to watch the show. Unfortunately she didn't take that many shots, but our boots were well and truly filled before we moved onto the table football. Tim gained his revenge for his humiliation at the pool table earlier in the evening and gained a deserved 6-3 victory. We were liking this pub, so when the "dukes" had moved on, we headed to the beer garden proper to find a number of nice girls out there too. Sad to leave after all the plus points, we headed out to be met by barman Simon, who had realized we were pub reviewing as soon as I had taken a photo of the pub from outside on arrival. He was very interested and took one of our cards to display in bar. Simon, your place gets the MD thumbs up! But what about the pub at Woodside Park...?
