Massive place, chilled with more potential than we experienced |
| Facilities | FIFTEEN x TVs, 2 x Pool tables, 1 x IT Box, 3 x fruits and a ‘Game Warehouse’ quizzer | |
| Ladies | 2 OK barmaids and a few others (some old, some nice) |
| OVERALL | A pub for the weekend… or to watch TV! |
Take a right out of the tube station, a short walk up the alley and you will find The Avenue opposite the local Police station. Posters inside proudly boasted that “every Friday and Saturday is Flirty Night”, something which on our Wednesday visit it clearly wasn’t! The place was full of fake leather sofas and an incredible 15 TVs… so many that I had to recount 3 times and then get JJ to verify.
With a big night of drinking ahead of us we took advantage of the Chilli Con Carne dish for just £2.95 which was great value for money. We toyed with sitting in the big beer terrace but ended up playing “Take it or Leave it” – an electronic “Deal or No Deal” copycat quiz game! JJ begged to sample the “Flirtinis” but I was keen to go to the next pub for some manly drinking at Totteridge & Whetstone...
