To be fair, there's not much to say about this pub. It is opposite the station and has a big frontage. We got some beers in and sat in a corner by the door to get some air to combat the slightly bleachy aroma (c.f. Surrey Quays). The pub is pretty large and has a massive back section with a big screen TV where one lonely punter watched the match on his own, a good viewing experience, although not as good as on my BIG TV!! The Irish punters bantered away and we enjoyed a pretty good beer. A big fat guy with bad teeth on the table next to us noticed us taking notes and started staring at the scoresheet. Not wanting an incident in our last pub of the evening, we took the "East London" approach and put away the sheet for completion later. Tim made a phone call, some tumbleweed rolled across the floor and we decided it was time for home. Perhaps it would be more lively at Westferry...?
