No problems in finding the MD pub here, the Ye Olde Swiss Cottage sits directly above the tube station itself. Made up to look like an Alpine cottage, I'm sure it's just like the ones in Bavaria and Switzerland... ahem. Tim wanted to change into his Lederhosen and have a little yodel, but there was serious MD business to be done and such frivolities would have to be left until the weekend as normal. The pub was split into three major sections. We went into the tap bar and got our extremely cheap and nice pints. This is the drinking section and everyone soon disappeared as the Champions League was about to kick off. Through a door with 'Members Only' was the pool section, with 6 tables, darkly lit. Can imagine some hustlers in here late at night, screwing their balls etc... Upstairs is a very large restaurant area sparsely populated with old guys in jumpers and their daughters (I think). The outside has a sitting area, but it is very noisy with the very spindley hedge providing no audio defence against the National Express buses thundering past every 3-4 minutes. Overall, it's a gimmick, but the actually pubby bits work very well. On to St Johns Wood...

Can't you smell the mountains....? No, me neither,
more petrolly really...
