 OVERALL  Great pub and atmosphere

Take a right out of the station and look forward to a good night! We entered this very brown pub and found ourselves in an almost unique position of being semi-surrounded by totty. We happily watched a busty barmaid go about her work with ease when we noticed the giant "mystery room" in the middle of the pub. Having not seen anything like this before we spent our time musing over what it could be... Broom cupboard? Massage parlor? Small monkey refuge? Meanwhile another punter wasted no time in walking up to the room and opening the door to reveal a store cupboard. :-( It was then we noticed that this guy (copy-cat website?) had actually brought a clipboard into the pub and was taking notes! What a geek! Loo-oo-ser! We soon supped up, took photos of each other, totted up the scores and notated the price of our pints. Time for a nightcap at Queen's Park...

The infamous Broom Cupboard!
