Clubby deafening music drowns out all of the 8 or so punters. Good on a Friday night no doubt, but cack for a nice drink
 Facilities 0  Bobbins all
Ladies  No barmaids, but two snowboard chicks and two nice girls round the corner hiding

OVERALL  Total shite, but Tim and Guest 2 seemed to see potential

After exiting Willesden Junction station from the Harrow Road exit, go down by the railway line and turn left at the top of the bridge and you are on Harlesden High Street. The Lodge is on your left. The place doesn't look like a pub and it isn't. You go down into a little club with a number of hidey holes and one small bar. We went to the bar and in the absence of any proper beer, I had to have a Red Stripe lager. I'm sure this was the pi55 that kids at my school used to drink when they couldn't get any meths, but I certainly can't recommend it at all. I can recommend elements of this pubs decor though. Whilst ordering our drinks, Tim was delighted when the barman turned on the "Big Mouth Billy Bass"-type Stag head on the wall which proceeded to entertain us for the remainder of our stay. The leather sofas were comfy and there were some great posters of Monkey and Happy Days on the walls. There was also some rather grubby carpet tacked on the walls. I suppose that's what they call interior design and my ignorance means I'm no Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, but didn't look much cop to me. I expect this place is kicking at the weekends and in the summer, but in the cold winter in midweek, it didn't do anything for me. We hoped for more liveliness at Kensal Green...
