Smoky, good music with a small air of menace |
| Facilities | Juke box, fruity and 3 small TVs | |
| Ladies | 2 busty barmaids and a couple of others |
| OVERALL | OK if you want to get stared at |
We took a right out of the station and took a long walk past a couple of chain pubs before crossing the road to enter Eddie's. We were immediately hit by smoke which was not quite thick enough to obscure the large wagon wheels (sadly not chocolate) which were everywhere in the pub. JJ and Guest 2 found a table to stand by and I headed to the bar. The barmaids were friendly but slow which gave me enough time to realize that the clientele were either: 1) Welsh 2) Bald 3) Both! While JJ fitted in like a local (he's not Welsh!) I clearly was wearing too much hair. We spent the next few minutes watching some cult 70's TV while we each fought personal battles to avoid eye contact with the local who was staring at us. We were very hungry so were glad to stop off at BK and KFC on the way to Stonebridge Park...
