This outing was arranged by Guest 1 to celebrate his 29th birthday as the station was en-route to Brick Lane for a good old Ruby Murray. We took a right out of the station and onto Brick Lane itself and the Vibe Bar was the first pub we spotted. We were quite pleased as some of us had fond but hazy memories of warm summer nights stood drinking in the large gated area outside the bar. However, on this cold January night it looked very different. Inside (once you locate the bar area through the maze of corridors) it is a very chilled place with sofas, old school chairs (literally) and wooden tables. The totty was formidable, and seeing as we were eating locally (a tale in itself), we set an MD record for the most pints at an MD stop. Three! Which enabled me to squeeze a couple of fruity Kronebourg Blancs in! :o) Time for a curry and just possibly last orders at South Wimbledon...???
