| Facilities | Juke box, IT Box, 2 x fruits, bowling machine, large screen, 2 x TVs and (of course) a dartboard! | |
| Ladies | 2 barmaids and quite a few odds and sods |
| OVERALL | Hardly the choice for local Tudors, not worth the walk |
This was the pub that caused us the most consternation (ever) as to whether it was a legitimate qualifier or not. We were a rum group of marathon drinkers; four bespectacled men, and me the bearded wonder, struggling to make sense of it all as we followed the local mini cab office’s directions (right out of the station) and along the road laden with mock Tudor houses (you have to see it to believe it). This is officially the closest pub to West Acton tube station but regrettably you have to walk past North Ealing tube station to get there! That presents us with another worry for the future but that’s for another day. Once inside we were under-whelmed by the pub but glad to take a seat and banter as the World Darts Championship played on the large screen in the background. As we admired the numerous facilities it sadly hit us that our whole MD plan is fatally floored; our research was revealing a simple equation of: good facilities + cheap beer = no totty. Distraught we left the oche and hoped to find a more straight forward qualifying pub at North Acton...

One of many many mock Tudor houses on the long road
to the pub!
