OVERALL  Hidden behind the shopping complex... it's worth a visit

We were able to squeeze in one final MD beer for 2005 and we took our opportunity at Tottenham Hale and The White Hart. Many a night JJ has hung about this station or frequented the local KFC/Pizza Hut, dying for a beer but naively thinking there are no establishments (I should point out it's a key interchange for his journey home). As you exit the tube, walk beyond the shopping centre in front of you and you will see this Mecca for drinkers. The pub is split between the White Hart and the Lee Paris Variety bar but sadly the latter was closed on our visit (maybe the variety buses don't run over the holiday period?). We were short on time as JJ had a wedding to go to (why else would he be wearing that snazzy shirt?...ladies catch him while you can!). We exchanged Christmas updates, had a quick game of pool and parted our separate ways. 2005 had been a great year for both running and drinking. 2006 was on the horizon, with the first eagerly awaited stop at Ealing Broadway...
