Lacking, maybe because it was trying too hard? |
| Facilities | Silverstrike bowling machine, IT Box, Golden Tee Golf gamer, 6 x TV screens, 1 x Large Screen | |
| Ladies | 2 blondes and a clueless barmaid |
| OVERALL | A split decision amongst both the founder Marathon Drinker’s and guests. Maybe a place to try and weekends or to watch football |
This is a short five minute walk if you exit the tube station at the right and cross the road. From the outside there were some reservations but once inside we knew this was a qualifier, albeit a bit poncified (it had a conservatory). We were staggered to see that only three of the draughts on offer were actually available. After checking with the barmaid as to whether the bar was being closed down or if she even knew what day it was (it was a Wednesday darling), I settled for a bottle of Magners. (NB – Buy two bottles of WKD and get a free ‘snowflake head-bopper’!). We found some high stools to sit on and tut at the poor levels of beer stockage before quaffing our drinks and heading for Leytonstone...

Cuckfield? 'Cack'field more like it, no
Guinness!
