I am told that a reference to boxing based upon the Marquis of Queensbury (geddit?) rules is inappropriate here, so...... after the excitement and epic nature of our last two stops, we were hoping for something a little more conventional and we were in luck as Guest 12's eagle eyes spotted an ill-lit pub right near the station that we had both missed. An "Irish" pub to boot, so 3 Guinness were ordered and we settled down for a nice rest. The standard Irish clutter (racehorse pictures, Guinness posters, those tambourine things, ginger leprechauns etc..) were present, and the place was friendly enough. The locals watched the TV as the radio played easy listening tunes softly in the background. Not really much to say here, but the beer was pretty good and reasonably priced and at least we didn't fear for our lives. Just what the doctor ordered at this stage of the evening and even my inability to get 3 beavers on the happy fruit didn't dampen our spirits so we felt totally invigorated as we headed off to our next stop at Kingsbury...
