OVERALL  They'll never run dry of Magners!

The plan was for a quickie at lunch time and we were quite glad to keep it so. We took a right out of Poplar after exiting the station from the right hand exit. After walking passed Tower Hamlets College (and avoiding being mugged by the disaffected yoof) we found The Resolute. Judging by the fact that the picnic tables outside the pub were padlocked down, we feared the pub may be quite rough and we knew we were ripe for a mugging in our flashy suits and new designer shoes. The bar had a circle of middle aged men slumped around it, all seemingly on their own but familiar to every other disheveled face they could see. We drank a fairly swift pint, amused ourselves by photographing the oversized fridge fully stocked with Magnier's Cider bottles and then left to face the gauntlet of young hooligans which separated us from our goal of reaching the DLR stop. Another station chalked off, onwards to Stanmore...

Heaven for west country boys, girls and drunks everywhere!
