Good for an all-dayer

The Bald Faced Stag (left out of station) seemed a perfectly named pub to welcome two new guests. Debutants Guest 10 and Guest 11 joined us late in this pub so we forced ourselves to partake in a second round of drinks! Guest 11 had come all the way from New Zealand especially for an MD cap, making her the second international guest. The pub scored the first ever '5' rating we had given any category for the facilities. With 9 TV's (showing a mixture of music and sport) and a massive screen (so big that the footballers were actual size) we were very impressed. JJ was most excited when noticed 4 pool tables, each with a different colour baize! And when he spotted the 'Big Buck Hunter 2006' arcade game he was almost beside himself. Brandishing a lethal looking plastic gun he managed to shoot 19 doves (the bird of peace), 2 does (a deer, a female deer) and only one stag. [Incidentally does is a homophone - something Marathon Drinkers have a lot of time for!]. Various games of pool were played and half pint top-ups ensued. It was an already merry fellowship who headed off to Highgate...

De Niro has nothing on this Deer Hunter!
