After a period of "rest", the prodigal Guest 1 returns... Upon leaving the station we immediately saw the pink neon lighting advertising the presence of The Tryst. Surely not another gay pub, we thought? Closer inspection showed that it was in fact basically a live music venue with advertisements for tribute bands plastered all over the place. At least it looked as if we weren't going to get glassed for wearing suits and looking at someone's pint, so in we went. We got our pints, noticed the rather strange patio doors leading to the back room and sat down on some metal garden style table and chairs - somewhat reminiscent of The Seasons (All-Day Breakfast for £3.50) at Gloucester Road - and checked out the place. Well, there's not much to say really, the place is pretty cold, with wipe-clean lino floors and no real character at all. Luckily the big screen had MTV on, so our thoughts turned to the very important task of assessing the merits of Charlotte Church's breasts in her new video. Whilst definitely helped by the basque-type top she was wearing and the amount of jiggling about that was going on, the girl obviously has merits and so gets the MD stamp of approval for "outstanding" achievement. Well done Charlie(s). Final stop Seven Sisters...
