OVERALL  Nice pub, would pop in to watch a game here

Ah the Oval, it conjures up images of youthful exuberance, the cracking of willow onto balls, wrong-uns and googlies..... anyway, enough of Tim's private life, this was to be the final stop of our brief evening. Turning right out of the station you come straight to the Hanover Arms. Obviously fitted out with the local cricket ground in mind, there were a large number of TV screens here and a longish bar, perfect for those hazy summer days of drunkenness, rammed in with other men sweating and enjoying Aussie bashing....sorry, Tim's tangent again! Anyway, this was a nice pub with a few things of note. Firstly a girl on her own, doing Sodoku with a pint - nice. Secondly the bar staff. This couple consisted of a ponce with girly hair and more curves than Kelly Brook and an ultra skinny barmaid, best described as an emancipated Ulrika Jonsson. There was no sign of Sven, so presumably he was busy thinking up tactics to thrash the Austrians (update: now THAT IS a funny joke, they were useless!). Our final bit of entertainment was from a Scottish waggster who proceeded to chuck his pack of cigarettes under Guest 3's chair to enable him to retrieve them, a ploy described as "Mickey Mouse" by the streetwise guest. For next time's outing, a decent run up the Piccadilly line, starting at Caledonian Road.....

Tim's treasure map he got off Blind Pew, well marked with the Black Spot (ha har!!)
