 Ambience

Cool music from a DJ-less digital radio station encouraged a relaxed atmosphere
 Facilities  3 x TVs, 1 x medium screen, 1 x pool, 2 x fruities, 3 x game/arcade machines and a sweets machine
Ladies  3 x cuties (window totty), 2 Chinese bar staff and one preggers lady!

OVERALL  A starter pub for a crawl or a finisher pub for a tasty Chinese

We were beckoned in off the street by a welcoming Chinese member of the bar staff who needn't have tried so hard as destiny (Ok, our rules) had fated this pub to be our second stop of the evening. (Take a right out of the station and head up the hill). For a Thursday evening it was surprisingly empty and to our relief the DJ booth was vacated. The ceiling was adorned with 6-nations rugby flags and there were plenty of facilities to while away the hours. We chose to enjoy the ladies sat by the window and then entered into a debate on whether a punter was either very fat or pregnant. A show of hands proved conclusively that she was in fact pregnant. (Something we as Marathon Drinkers were unsure if we condoned but concluded if she wasn't drinking then it was no business of ours). The pub had an in-built Chinese restaurant and the menu was tempting but it was early and there was not enough ale inside us to be soaked up by food. We upped sticks and left for Belsize Park...

A travesty of file transfer means the JJ photo has been lost!!
