OVERALL  A one-off bit of luck

After the earlier excitement of Marble Arch, it was only fair that we should have some luck, and bingo at Pimlico we found it. For this pub was the after-match watering hole of approximately 50-60 young ladies in netball gear. To be precise, Commonwealth Netball UK - London's Premier Netball League. Whilst some ladies were obviously of a lower standard and some of the girls were in fact, on closer inspection, boys, the quality of the young ladies was still very high and made our visit most enjoyable. The service at the bar was sloppy, perhaps understandable for some as the barmen were very busy, but we only expect the best. The upstairs hosts the "Gallery" itself and the upstairs revealed even more nice young ladies, this time with their young men as they sought refuge from all the hustle downstairs. Whilst it was noted that the pub had plenty of nice jugs (of beer), Tim was highly disappointed that many of the girls had gone for shorts rather than the traditional netball skirt. When it started to rain and the netballers from outside came pouring in their wet tops, we truly knew that the power of the MD gods were with us that day. We reluctantly left and headed for our last stop at Victoria.

Tim  and a lovely non-netballer.

The MD twins enjoy a synchronized pint.
