Fair to middling, nothing special |
| Facilities | 2 x fruits, 1 x TV | |
| Ladies | 2 x OK Eastern European barmaids, a woman with an incredibly short skirt and a few other bits. Certainly quantity over quality |
| OVERALL | You would only pop in if you were going to the theatre opposite |
There aren’t many qualifying pubs in this area and this one was hard to find unless you head to the Piccadilly theatre, which is opposite. While JJ and I surveyed the premises, the remaining guests indulged in a drunken Whitney Houston sing-a-long! There was an upstairs that was pretty much a non-entity except for the toilets, which proved to be the fourth of the evening to be maintained by the “Dirty Harry Cleaners”! A board outside proclaimed that this was one of the few buildings left undamaged after W.W.II. We weren’t quite sure if this was a good or bad thing given what we next witnessed… a barmaid emptied three partially drunken bottles of red wine into one and placed it back behind the bar! Two of the wines were completely different makes!! It was a low end to the night but what a night! 7 guests, 6 pubs and only one MD challenge…. (there’s only one MD challenge!). Marble Arch would have to wait for next time...

A unique insight into the highly complex and organised Marathon Drinkers note-taking system.
