OVERALL  A tried and tested West End favourite

Guest 8 joined us outside the station for his inaugural cap and completed the fellowship for the evening.  It was the second Nag’s Head of the challenge and with nine of us it proved difficult to keep track of conversations and events.  Certainly overheard was Guest 1 informing Guest 5 that she had a “warm bottom” but I think he was referring to her tepid pint glass.  Guest 5 had managed to find a beard to be photographed alongside (see pic below) and her level of cunning (waiting until he passed out) meant that he didn’t need to be disturbed.  Guests 7 drew unwanted attention to himself by indulging in illegal snacking (he brought a packed lunch!) but as it was his first cap we turned a blind eye to it (as we did to Guest 8’s lime cordial!).  The pub itself was pleasant enough and is the first pub most people stop at when arriving at Covent Garden.  We would have certainly stayed for more but we had to move on and complete the night’s plans.  We bid a fond farewell to Guests 6 and 7 who wobbled off vowing to return as the rest of us boarded the tube (hot Cornish pasty in hand) to Leicester Square.

Our biggest gathering so far! Tim & JJ with Guests 1,2,3,5,6,7 and 8!

Guest 5 and sleepy friend
