Yet again, Guest 1 steals the thunder. Not content with claiming that he was trying to generate some gay interest by stating that "You can't beat a bit of cock" - a reference to a local hostelry rejected for being too far away from the tube - he also enjoyed some toilet frolics with a drunken guy aiming for the urinals and managing to sway between urinals 2 and 3 without really hitting the target at either! On to the pub review..... this thin pub is located right next to the tube station and thus suffers from a massive influx of tourists and shoppers. Set out on two levels, they have made the bizarre decision to separate up the lower floor with a number of wooden and glass partition walls. Whilst this creates some booths with nice shelves for storing your drink, it means that you can't really observe the passing punters - a key element of the MD experience. Having said that, Tim was in favour and said he'd even come back just for the dividers! Added to a very well stood and shamrocked pint of Guinness (our first?) and even allowing for misjudgment due to previous beers consumed, this one was a Tim fave. But would the next pub at Hyde Park Corner also get his thumbs up?

"Even better than a night of Cock!"
