This pub experience started well but faded fast. We were impressed by the good choice of lager and ales served by a barman doing a very good impression of a bashed-up Mick Hucknall. This pub was no Fairground though with a pretentious food menu, some dangerously steep steps to the toilets (not safe!) and three large but unexplained busts adorning the wall. Sadly they were not the kind of busts Marathon Drinkers normally seek out so we were more than happy to leave, filled with hope that Farringdon would have more to offer.
