OVERALL  A bar that will only ever attract suits and the occasional tourist

Guest 1 met us outside the tube station to pick up a well earned second cap and then minutes later Marathon Drinkers welcomed our first international drinker.... Guest 4 all the way from Finland! This pub was previously part of the Hogg’s Head chain but it seemed to have changed hands. We could see no sign of “chain status”, so reluctantly entered knowing we were missing out on a nearby favorite as this was one of our old stomping grounds. It took a while to get served with only one barman on service but there was a bit of VP on show to keep our interest in this place. (VP being Visible Panties from one female patron who clearly had no shame). Very little else to add for this place other than Guest 4’s comment that his pint of London Pride “tasted like water”. Clearly time to head to Mansion House.
