Tim had plans to go see a comedy show, so our Friday the Thirteenth outing had to be a fairly swift job of three pubs duration. We headed off thirstily down the Jubilee line and alighted at Green Park. No pubs in sight. This was going to be a back street job. We went up and down a few streets. We were propositioned by a smart looking chap in a suit (the Tim effect in action again?) just before we found the pub just off Berkley Square. The pub sign was great, the pub name was great.... that was it. Yet another T&J Bernards effort, this pub was small and half full of middle aged suits out for their after-work pint. We lost a few quid on the quizzer and decided to move on. A distinctly average experience and certainly not a pub we'd bother seeking out again. Hopefully we'd fare better at Warren Street.
